G-L-A-M-O-R-O-U-S!
We experienced a little travel delay today on our way to St. Mary's University. After two delayed flights we arrived in the San Antonio airport about 45 minutes before we were scheduled to be on campus to join the fine folks of St. Mary's for dinner. With no time to go to the hotel first we decided to set up a little make shift vanity in the airport restroom which was conveniently located next to the rental car counter- a great time saver. They had all the major necessities a girl could ask for...an electric outlet, a sink, and a mirror. The only think lacking was privacy which we did not mind but I'm afraid some other travelers did. Oh well. So as you can see life on the road is far from glamorous. What would Fergie think?
Here's a little clip of Becca commenting on our situation as she quickly gets her curly locks in check for the night.

Social Justice Superstars!
Okay, so while we love kicking it with the students, conference season allows for us to hook up with dear friends and play. In these photos Kelly and I were chilling with two rock stars of the social justice world. Jessica Pettitt and Bil Leipold. Don't know them? You should. I am always learning from their visionary prospective and ability to help us lead the world to where it should be versus settling for where we are. I am also proud to share they were both just recognized by Campus Activities Magazine as two of the top Diversity Speakers in the entire nation. One of the neatest parts of the journey Kelly and I are on is that we get to spend time with people we deeply respect and admire. Not bad for a days work.

Leadership is Cool!!!
We're at one of our favorite conferences MGCA (Mid-American Greek Council Association) in the urban hip city of Chicago home to Oprah and my good friend who I will refer to as N.A. since he happens to be super private when it comes to his identity on the web (Totally love him!). While doing our thing at the conference we had the pleasure of facilitating a Leadership Pathway program with our dear friend and fellow speaker Bil Leipold. (Totally love him too!) This particular session was a 4 hour breakout with Fraternity and Sorority Vice President's from campuses all over the country. The title of the session was THE GOOGLE EFFECT: Ensuring your organization has what it takes to survive and thrive. After a few hours of visually appealing power point slides, many thought provoking questions, deep thoughts and conversation, and lots of forward thinking we are confident that these students have what it takes to lead their organizations well and to create an action plan that will bring sustainability and success to their chapters.
Below is a group of leaders striking a pose in their goggles (end result of the entertaining craft portion of the pathway).

We "heart" NACA!
This was our first time at NACA (National Association of Campus Activities) and we are in love! It was such an honor and a surprise to be accepted to showcase at this world class event. It is a truly great conference full of THE absolute nicest people... really, never have we been around so many kind and positive folks. NACA hosted lots of amazing educators, speakers, musicians, comedians and activists, they even had a mechanical bull. No joke! It is a literal playground for today's college students (and some speakers). We were deeply regretting that we were never on the programming board at UWF as we so missed out.
Darryl McDaniels or DMC (of Run-DMC) as most of the world knows him was also in our set and we got a chance to meet him. He is such a nice guy. Very cool!
We made a new funny friend, Eric Schwartz- aka Smooth E. A great comedian who will be at the Tampa Improv in March so for all you Tampa friends who want to kick it with the funny and suave Smooth E let us know!
Also, NACA gave us time to spend with one of our mentors and the lead dog at CAMPUSPEAK, TJ Sullivan. We captured a photo of our booth aka home base at the conference. Here many NACA rock stars acquired the Super Sexually Empowered t-shirts that are a part of this year's Unite for Change Campaign. If you weren't there but gotta have one...there are still a few open dates for this year's tour. Also, in this month's newsletter you can register to win a 6-pack of T's. Value- Priceless.
Lastly, our NACA was excellent but not at all possible without the vision and leadership of our dear friend, sister and the Unite for Change Creative Director Kim Northup. She has done so much for us that we are forever thankful.
Off to doodle hearts in our notebooks about our new crush...NACA!

University of Minnesota
Lydia, Bre, Sarah and Heather talk about "IT"!
Last night we had an awesome time at The University of Minnesota Morris. We were the guests of the amazing and passionate Morris Feminists. Their motto is creating equality for women and men. Does it get any better than that? In honor of our new commitment to video blogs we have some great footage from our trip including several of the students after our program. They are another shining example of why we do what we do. Learn more about them and their campus by visiting the home page from the Violence Prevention Center http://www.morris.umn.edu/services/ViolencePrevention/ the Program Coordinator, Bridget is amazing (all campuses should be so lucky).
Much love from the frozen tundra-

Action packed good times!
What a great 32 hours! A first class flight to NYC, quality time with our dear friend Bil Leipold upon arrival to the big apple, a great gig at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, N.J. where we got to meet some super smart future engineers. Thank you for everything Nathalie! And our trip was complete after a visit to the Montel Williams Show where we received great prizes! We're going to Disney World for 3 days for FREE! Thanks Mickey and thank you Montel! An action packed day and a half for sure. Good times indeed!
