Kick'n it with our friend Stacey

We got a chance to spend time with our good friend and fellow speaker Stacey tonight. She invited us to a "spot" she had at The Grind in Queens. We've seen Stacey's educational program, "Looking Through Broken Mirrors:A Program about Eating Disorders, Body Image & Healing" but this was the first time we got a chance to see her do her comedy act. It was very cool to see Stacey do her thing. She's FUNNY!
In addition to working with college student to eradicate eating disorders and body image issues, and making people laugh with her stand up she's also trying to educate the world about all sorts of issues. You go Stacey! Check out her new project, The Stacey Prussman Show at http://www.thestaceyprussmanshow.com/ Stacey is getting involved and taking action by addressing important issues we all face in our every day lives. The show covers a wide range of topics from animal safety and protecting the environment to addressing body image issues. Stacey told us she's looking for show ideas so if you have a suggestion or project you want to tackle in your hood get in touch with our girl Stacey through her web-site. She would totally love to hear from you.
